I am looking for an economical but reputable bike fitter in manchester or Wiltshire.
Is anyone on the forum qualified and experienced enough to help me out with this?
Thanks in advance,
Fred.

I'd travel to Adrian Timmis at www.cadencesport.co.uk
He's based in Staffordshire but well worth the trip.
Included are custom moulded footbeds which are tremendous.
Plus, the three hours chatting to an ex-pro of the highest level is always nice
Locally, another one that gets mentioned is Paul Hewitt, a few miles north of manchester, some people rave about him, some have had bad experiences.
I had a 'fit' done at my old LBS (Royles in Wilmslow) I thought it was OK but I developed a few niggles in my knees, back and shoulders. These were all sorted by Adrian. He discovered and corrected a leg length discrepancy and leg tracking issues, as well as sorting the front end.0 -
Nap, did you take your bike with you or did he set you up on a jig and then give you the measurements to take away so you could apply them to your bike(s)?0

I took my bikes with me but he has a jig (with power meter cranks) too.
He has a funky stem that adjusts for angle and reach to try on your own bike too.0 -
