Seeking help on how to get the school that I work at all year in the C2W scheme. Will have to goto to the Head myself so any help to explain the matter would be appreciated.

Might not be down to the head, more likely the LEA.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
  • It's most likely that your borough's County Council will be the ones to contact.

I've just signed up for it. I work at a school but the County Council are my actual employers and it's them that's running the scheme. Unless you're at a private school i imagine it'll be the same case for you

The school I work in has introduced the C2W Scheme; it is an independent school though, not directly linked to LEA's.

If you are an LEA school you need to find out if your governing council runs the C2W scheme, if so, you should be entitled to use the scheme...

    Best of luck

I know it's certainly possible, I met a guy on a club run who was a teacher and who'd bought a bike on B2W.. Unfortunately don't remember his name and don't know the details re how he did it, so not much help I'm afraid!

I am surprised to hear that it might be upto the LEA instead of the head. Would like to know what the agreement would be like?

Well as (for state schools) all school staff are employed by the Local Education Authority (part of the county council) which is where the HR function and the payroll is administered, I'd be surprised if it were upto anyone else actually! (Mrs The Rookie works for the LEA in 3 seperate jobs all on one Payroll).

The head wouldn't want to get involved, the agreement would be a normal C2W one between employer and employee - did you understand what you posted?
