just looked at the temp in my office, its 30C

i work in the server room which has two big air con units an a series of extractors, so god knows how hot it would get if i turned all them off............might be a quite way to loose some excess weight (water) though

I have a small fan blowing on the top of my head from above (another good thing about being a baldy) no aircon but I leave work at around 7:50 so it should have cooled down a bit by then but I do predict getting home a sweaty mess

Just done a record 1h 21 sec for my 19 mile return commute in and out of Chester.

Feel sick, very hot and can't cool down.... going to sit still for a bit.

And it was a head wind on the way home :(

Not at work today. Went out for a ride instead. 43 miles of sun, scenery and occaisional chats with fellow riders I met along the way.

Impressive if a bit daft in this heat. Drink some water. And maybe jump in a cool shower.

Servers don't respond well to high temperatures though.... depending on how many servers you have, anything up to 60 degrees perhaps?

1 shower 2 ice pops and a good drink and all well. I set a good time going into work this morning and it seemed a shame to waste it.

Yebbut.... I did 35 miles over Epsom downs and Ranmore today - in the heat of the day, starting at 11am.

I was totally fecked when i got back, cramping for the first time in ages and slept for 2 hours solid after my shower.

There is a lesson there about hard effort in the sun....
