Why would you have that amount at that cost and never use most of it?

Who needs that amount of tools?

Who needs that amount of tools?

Is that "Chris" as in "Christine"?

No man would ask such a question.

True dat. I didn't ask "why?", only "how?"

I also thought what a ridiculous queestion. I can never have enough tools. I have a large and fairly magnificent tool collection. But having looked at that lot, even I thought it was a bit much. Who needs over 20 adjustable spanners? Is it because it takes too long to look through the other lot to find the right size?

Apparently, some of the tools were used by Colin McCrae's mechanic. Maybe some of Colin's skills will rub off on you if you use these tools?

But hopefully not his skills as a helicopter pilot.

    best question - and answer!

Q: I will happily put in a massive bid to win... but only if the set includes a two-tone left handed cornflake magnet? Can you please confirm this is the case or not. Thanks

A: Hi Sory ,but i dont think there is one of them included everything else but no food related items Regards Nick

    Tool porn !

I used to work for a big dealership and the workshop would empty whenever the Snap On van drove into the yard. I'd find all the mechanics in the back of the van drooling over a spanner as though it was Angelina Jolie in a pair of suspenders. Sad really

Toolkits of that magnitude weren't too uncommon.

    £35k?

Wonder will the buyer keep them or have the time/patience to split and sell at a profit.

Reading through the comments it seems the seller bought a workshop and the tools were included.
