im only asking this here as it is the only place on the forum to get the Hot Int
look at this bike, look at it now:
tell me what colour rims to put on it. i am fitting lime green hubs which match the collar and lockrings and am going to use superstar rims (as they are a bit cheaper than the stans i wanted for a very small weight penalty but bigger width dimensions)
so, white or black
can anyone photo shop the different colour options please, i know there are some computery types on here (gaz perhaps?)

Sheeps...white it's the new black and will contrast with Bionicon writting and seat and grips...and if you don't go white I'll come round and lick you eyeballs out.0

Just to see PudseyP attempting to lick your eyeball I voted for blackStatistically, Six Out Of Seven Dwarves Aren't Happy0

Black, and while your at it change the saddle and grips to the same. Having the 3 areas most in contact (minus the pedals and tyres) with you and the trail in the colour that is hardest to keep clean is lunacy, LUNACY I TELLS YA!0
-
Go for white, take the front brake off, lower the saddle, hang your arse out of your pants and pretend you are a 14 year old dirt jumper.
Wheels are black.I don't do smileys.

I'm going to say white.
Mostly because I went for black because I wasn't sure if white would look good, and I want to see if I was right0 -
IMHO of course.I don't do smileys.

So, that's the way we're playing it, is it?
So, let's go with 'Go for black rims and keep the ninja look to your wheels or the last experience you will have will be of choking to death on the charred remains of your own c**k'.
Hope that helps!

Black. Understated. WinFormally known as Coatbridgeguy0

White rims every time, although have SS got any in stock? i've been looking out for them for a while now and they've been waiting for some to come in0
-
Neither.
Go for red.
With yellow tyres
Change the grips, cables, saddle and everything so that it makes your eyes burn.
Then send a picture into MBUK where it will win 'Readers Bike of the Year'. This in turn makes the colour blind belmers that are usually in the mag feel so inferior they're forced to wear nothing but camel, tope, beige and ecru.Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

if you are really going to pimp the shizzle out of it
Green Hubs
White Spokes
Green Rims (superstar techno lime green)0 -
Clearly white, cos we all we know black bikes with white rims are the shizz, in fact I'll say go for green hubs, white spoke and white rims, although green hubs white spokes and black rims wouldn't look to bad I think.
Surprised Josh hasn't contributed to a thread about rims...0 -
I'd say black mate. White rims always look a bit gyppo I reckon. Kind of one of the things Carrera or Claud Butler/Falcon etc do to try and make their £200 specials look gangsta.
Get the techno lime hubs, black spokes, black rims and the techno lime green 9mm & 10mm skewers. That will look good.
From a design perspective, it's always nice to keep colour toward the centre of the wheel if you want to keep it looking sweet without starting to look like a clown bike.0 -
Not really surprised, brown and torn like Gary Lucy's after the bigger boys caught him wasn't one of the poll options :shock:0

I bet he voted black too!
By the way, black because "once you go black, you never go back".0 -

He must plump for white after all he's a bike slag...0

Black, unless you're trying to make it look dead blingy."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0

This is true.
My 456 is amazing because it has white rims, however On One have said not to use the wheels because they might explode and kill me to death, whereas my old, black rims were never recalled, so on that evidence, black is the way to go.0 -
I have just asked my neighbour Micheal Barrymore and he says "all white"0
