Hi there!
Got into mtbing last summer, but given I go to uni in Leicester there isn't that much mtbing opportunity so I stuck slicks on my Hardrock and started road riding, turns out I love it! So today I got my first road bike, a 2011 Allez Sport compact, only done a quick few miles so far but I absolutely adore it, so fast compared to my mountan bike!
The spec is totally stock apart from some Time RXS First pedals (knees are bit dodgy) and a couple of cheapo alu bottle cages that will do for the time being
For any who are interested, link to full spec: http://www.evanscycles.com/products/spe ... gn=froogle

I've had to go and get mine out of the shed to polish it up a bit.....
if it is your only bike, then a set of lighter wheels and tyres wil make it even sweeter...
I have run with everything 'stock' as mine is used for training, but as stuff like pads wear out... then replace with ultegra as sora pads create a mucky mess in the wet...as a for instance.0
