Like Sheffield rockers, Saxon, I like metal......I have just realised that I have an all steel fleet:

Surly 1 x 1 singlespeed MTB Chromoly 4130 frame
(Thomson seatpost and stem, FSA xc282 bars, XT cranks and BB, Mavic Crossride wheels, whyte saddle, Avid Juicy 5 203mm discs)

Weight 9.2kg

Raleigh Reynolds 853 "Special Products" frame:
(Ultegra groupset, VO bars, ITM Goccia stem, Specialized Phenom saddle, Gipiemme wheels)

Weight 8.4kg

Barron custom built TT frame Reynolds 531SL (fixie):
(Nitto RB018 bars, ITM Goccia stem, FSA sl-k carbon seatpost, Specialized Tri-tip saddle, Sugino RD2 cranks, dirty harry brake lever and tiagra front brake, Pegasus 40mm deep v wheels - fixie configuration)

Weight around 7kg

I don't think those are bad weights for steel beasts!

Not weighed my fleet but the steel SS is the heaviest of the 3 road bikes but only by ~1 kilo. Only ~40 years old so not too shabby against the alu/carbon commuter and full carbon Sunday bike.
    FCN3: Titanium Qoroz.

All ferrous here too. The Dahon is the heaviest, but I don't have any accurate weights - must do that.

    Hi,
What else would you use? :-)

I have three bikes, all made of different materials:

Winter Hack: Seamless CroMo steel (Dawes frame)
    Summer Hack: Reynolds 531c
Geared Tourer: Reynolds 531 (dates from the time when there was only "531")

    Cheers,
    W.
