Day 1 of 12 days off work, weather is looking promising. Niiiiiiice0 -
Yo,
Put new tyres on my steed (High Rollers) and my God do they drag like fook. At least I should shift a few extra calories though so I guess it's all good. Ankle's playing up badly though so not sure how much biking will actually get done this month. Student graduate show tomorrow which means free staff bar for the first few hours so today is coasting until tomorrow and free booze0 -
Morning trumpers!
Today is slightly less meh than yesterday although I've still got more work than I know what to do with.
Made the fatal mistake of asking the road forum what wheels are any good for £250. They recommended some for £350 and £500. I'm suprised they didn't suggest I dump the planet x and buy a CAAD10.Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

The weekend is nearly here.
That is all.How would I write my own epitaph? With a crayon - I'm not allowed anything I can sharpen to a sustainable point.

Gotta love roadies! I stay well away from the roadie section, apart from the cake stop.
For me today, moving a load of equipment from my office to my lab. I am needing a poo at some point soon, and just debating whether to get a 456 carbon frame! Suggestions? Or is this too serious a question for cruddites?Out with the old, in with the new here.0 -

I hate jelly, and I aint putting no nuts in my mouth, nevermind those of a monkey. I'll gladly watch wildlife programs though, especially those about sex hehe.
But you think the 456 is a nice frame then? Now to bribe the wife.....Out with the old, in with the new here.0 -

As for bribing the wife, let her pick the ditch? or even what colour bling to add to the 456, but i prefer the first idea.0 -

pick the ditch, is that a euphemism. I'm pretty sure she'll just say the front ditch though, but I can ask her. Unless of course you were suggesting which ditch I should take it in
As for bling...black is the new bling colour. I don't get all this bike tart stuff, keep it clean and simples.Out with the old, in with the new here.0 -

Carbon 456? Yes. If they've still got them for £299 you'd be daft not too. I just need the road bike to get more miles in.Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

Morning scumbags
Nice weather setting in here but I need to do some work. In fact it looks like it's going to be a gorgeous day, which makes me miss being on the bike even more than usual May see if my laptop cable will stretch to the patio to make work more bearable.
Now for porridge & coffee..."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -
Morning farts what a farking nice day it is today, and as usual I'm stuck in the office, bored out my brains wishing I could go for a ride, but alas mojos of the road atm payday yesterday tho, so I treated myself to some green kcnc chainring bolts and a remote for the Joplin, as well as a few pints last, which were greatly appreciated. Got a mates bike to fix later, crc took ages dispatching the stuff I needed for it, so that'll take up most of this evening when I get back home
coffee o'clock calls laters0 -

snapped/lost 2 chainring bolts, they were taken off the maxlight so had seen a fair bit of abuse, so it's not surprising really, new green kcnc bolts ordered tho, so it's an excuse for more green bling other than that she's running like a dream0 -
Been doing alot of DH at FOD recently due to its convenience to my house.
The Draker is loving it it's such a beast Will ahve to get your Mojo up there at some point get some man scratches on it ;p0 -

As for the 456, I think I am going to order one asap then, all i'm hearing is good things.
Work wise, I have successfully moved equipment from office to lab, eating some cake and about to go organise said labOut with the old, in with the new here.0 -

Sun's so bright I can't take the laptop outside - can't see fark all on the screen. Not v useful when it's an online application process...

Lemon whores are the ones to fear...
Quiet day in work after yesterday's madness (French clients wanting the moon on a stick for $300,000). Going to some school thing my wife's cousin's child (why isn't there a specific word for that?) is doing some thing (involving Scottish dancing amazingly...I'll be the only Scottish person there). Would rather be out on bike (which isn't as fun due to slightly colder weather... less bikinis) or playing GT 5.Formally known as Coatbridgeguy0
