My first build

Heres my first build on a Da Bomb sputnik frame. Most of the parts i have removed from a saracen xile bike, but i'm upgrading parts as and when i get the money.
I picked up the saracen for a paltry £35.
So far i have upgraded the brakes to clarks S2's, got rid of the censored gripshift that was on there. It came with 2 different tyres so nabbed some wtb's of a mate.
I also resprayed the forks as they came like this, couldn't find any original decals so opted for some bomber ones.

What a great start and shows you don't need maga budget if you are willing to put in the graft.

yeah, new baby means small budget, so it's mostly fleabay parts. Only really a few small things that need sorting now. Rear mechs bent so i think i'll use that as an excuse to change the drivetrain parts, cranks, bb, cassette etc.
