scale or talon?

i currently own a 2010 giant talon which i have upgraded with a revelation fork and i am very happy with it but today i managed to get hold of a scott scale 40 frame not sure what year it is but its black and grey. (will try to get pics up)
Anyway my question is if you were to choose one to use day in day out which would it be?, i would be using it for xc mainly tight singletrack and short steep climbs and some light road work.

The Scale is lighter, but has steeper more racy geometry and will not take the Revelation in the longer travel setting.0

Yep, would be fine. The Scale will feel faster and less stable than the Talon ie quicker handling.0
