Gear ratios

Right got a querie on gear ratios...
34t front 34t rear 1:1 ratio right?
36t front 36t rear 1:1 ratio exatly the same ?or more or less effort required?
confused? i am!

    if the ratio is the same, the effort is the same.

    In a perfect system larger cogs are also more efficient so under lab conditions 36:36 is very marginally more efficient than 34:34. Sod all real world difference though!

    you didn't miss alot, it moved on quickly to the differances between utterly butterly and i cant belive its not butter, what a day!
