Following the money...
If Bertie goes down..
What happens to Berties winnings from 2010 Tdf + 2011 Giro; bearing in mind that
as far as I am aware, winnings are shared across the whole team?
Is it likely that the Saxo Bank riders have recieved their share from the Giro and will it therefore ever get to Scarponi's foot soldiers??

I suspect that the money was divided before the Saxo boys left Italy, Josame. And may even already have been spent, so there's no chance of reclaiming it.0

I believe the organisers are fairly slow at paying out the prize money. Sean Kelly said that in his day the could take up to a year to pay up.
I would image that none of the prizes are paid out until the doping tests have been completed. Bertie's prize money from the 2010 Tour is probably still in ASO's current account.Twitter: @RichN950 -

Lets just hope it isn't used to buy equipment in the fight against doping.0 -

I thought that's what they used donations for? No receipt issued....0
