Hi,

can anyone recommend a short sleve cycling jersey with enough high vis to be noticed but without it being high vis all over?

Thanks

tbh you could wear flashing neon with lasers, you'd still get twunts who claim they didn't see you

just wear what you like, and assume other road users are trying to kill you, far safer

When you say high vis, do you mean reflective material or fluorescent material?

And have you thought of wearing white? That's quite highly visible.

You could always go retro and get the Iron Bru shirt, its bright blue and orange and is very stand out! 8)

The safest part motorcyclist is one who wear a white helmet (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motorcycle_helmet - see the bit about 'Conflicting findings on color visibility') - I'm considering a change here. As a biker as well as a cyclist, I always paid more attention to a white-lidded biker than any other...

I've found that no matter what hi-viz I wear, it's still never enough for drivers to pass too close/near miss/etc... I follow the advice of @sungod - I even have the lights on my bike flashing all summer just to be sure...

Also - be daring - nothing more visible than a cyclist in the middle of the road absolutely starkers

Just wear what you like, as long as it is not black, or a very dark shade of another colour. I hate the look of high vis stuff, both the reflective and flourescent types, and on top of that, they don't offer much in terms of visibility anyways.
