The ones on my new bike are plain awful and also refuse to budge along to allow for bar ends. Sorted with a Stanley knife since I plan to replace them anyway.

What would people recommend in the way of MTB / Hybrid bar ends?
Giant Escape M1....
Penny Farthing
Unicycle
The bike the Goodies rode
Pogo Stick
Donkey on Roller skates.......OK I'm lying, but I am down to one bike right now and I feel bad about it,

I have used a pair on my hybrid and they are very comfy.

I've the specialised version of the ergon and they are pretty comfy - also about a tenner less (though no bar ends, so you do need to take that into consideration with pricing!)

Titec Pork rinds (unless you have very big hands) or Avenir AGG407 (same part, different wrapper and cheaper) or KCNC (same part, bling colours and KCNC logo!) for more money. no end so sit inside bolt on bar ends (which I read you as already having).
