Help with seat post sizes

Hi all im about to get me new frame shortly (tommorrow hopefully) and im after seat post but nt many of that size, the clamp is 30mm and i think takes 27.2mm size seat post would it this take a seat post of any other sizes IE 26.8 or next size up from 27.2 cheers.

clamp size have very little to do with the seatpost size.

And no, if it takes a 27.2 then it needs a 27.2 and nothing else. Unless it's a smaller size and you get a shim.

Yh i know seat clamp have little todo with seatpost size i only just stated it on so you know.

and it says under geomentry what size post etc just wondered really if have to stick to exatct size post or can i have size under (26mm) or over (28.5mm) or so? do i have to stick to the 27.5mm.
