Hi i have the opportunity to buy a bianchi ML3 for 200-250 pounds.
My friend bought it second hand so he has no idea which year its from or the exact model.
All i know is that it says ML3 on the frame and its yellow.
This is my first road bike and ive never ridden one before. What should i look out for and is this a good price?
Would i be better off getting something like a specialized allez or a trek 1.2 or a giant defy 2nd hand?
I dont really know anything about road bikes and am just getting started.
any help is really appreciated!
EDIT: added picture (sorry i dont have a clearer one)

The ML3 was Bianchi's entry-level road frame in the early noughties. It's very porky (about 1.7kg for a 52cm centre to top) and limp, but looks the part especially compared with its replacement Via Nirone. I have two but only because I could pick them up for pennies a couple of years ago. What groupset and wheels is this example fitted with?0
