    Congrats!

    I got one many years ago at the 2nd hole at Alness Golf Club. Spent 5 minutes looking for my ball before checking in the hole.

    I was very excited, but nobody say it, so it didn't happen. Apparently.

    I got an eagle a month or so ago. Hit it straight in the hole from 160 yards with a 6 iron. Again I didn't see it go in, but my mate did. I was sure he was taking the piss until he took it out of the hole for me.

    Would you believe it was about 19:00 on Sunday eve and apart from me and my mate and the green keeper the club was completly empty.

    Well done fella, i play golf pretty regular now after getting a membership last sept. Never hit a hole in one though! Im down to playing off 18 now.

    cycling's good cos you can't miss 3 foot putts and golf is good cos you don't get pun*tures!

    I've holed out from the fairway a number ot times for eagle, but never had an ace. Had a few that needed the Mexican ball (one more revolution) and they'd have gone in, but so far, no cigar.

    Closest was actually a par 4 about 320 metres downhill with a screaming tailwind, could have been an albatross. :x :x :x

    Have always had to console myself with the old adage: hitting it close requires skill, making a hole in one only requires luck. :D

    I've had a couple of hole-in-ones. The hardest part was getting up the clowns mouth, round the wind mill and over the dragons head......I must lay off the LSD.
