After suffering with bad sciatic nerve pain for 9 months I sold my on one inbred 456 and bought a second hand EX7 frame off a friend. to see if this helped.
Which it seems to have
Originally I just swapped all the parts over but have now changed parts to suit the bike more but kept some subtle red anno action.
what do ya think?

I've never heard of an On One Inbred 456. The trek's looking good mate0

Really? it's a bit of a corker the old 456. I have seen those Furys up close love the smooth welds.0

I think what getonyourbike is saying is the Inbred and 456 are two different bikes2014 Whyte T-129S0

Thats weird then.....
Thats a standard inbred with horizontal dropouts in green at the back with my 456 summer season in front. And oh look, it says inbred on it..... Not sure why, as the new ones don't.
What are the chances of that?

IIRC the origional 456s came with inbred decals because they hadnt got round to making 456 ones yet.0 -

I'm pretty sure it was called the Inbred 456 for a while.
Anyway, lovely Trek. If I'm being hyper critical the cranks don't look great (can't put my finger on it) but otherwise pretty tasty.0 -
Yep I bought my On One back in 2006 when they were moving warehouse was a bargain and was indeed an Inbred 456, Basically and inbred that could take a longer travel fork hence the name inbred 456.
The cranks are Stylos off my old 456, although the BBs on the Stylos are rubbish and the chainrings don't last that great the crank arms have been battered for 5 years and are still going strong so can't complain to much. Want some XT cranks but am waiting to see how the whole 2x10 or 3x 10 pans out a bit.
Cheers for the comments.0 -
Is that a 2.1 or a 2.25 Nic on the rear?
I'm lovin' my XR4's on my EX9 but the rear tyre/frame clearance is shameful.0 -
Its a 2.25 clearance seems fair to me.0
