Hi, I'm 24K.
I recently bought a "apollo phaze" from halfords, and would love to know the best way to upgrade it! I live in the West Mids so Sutton Park is my main place to go, I know I'm going to get some hardcore trolling from my bike =(, But hopefully you can help me upgrade it!.

The first thing I'd suggest is getting a semi-decent fork on it, while there are lots of things you could change, that will be the single biggest improvement for lowest cost, after that some better tyres (when yours wear out) and better wheels, its not really worth spending much on a phaze unless you intend to carry them over to a better frame in the future.

Thanks, are there any guidelines to follow when buying a fork, such as checking they fit?0 -
To be honest - genuinely, beyond putting on some grips, pedals, tyres and a saddle that you like, it's really not worth upgrading. Save your money up, ride that til it breaks, then buy a better bike to start with. You will end up with a much better bike for less money that way, believe me.::'11 Pitch Pro::0

Hi 24k welcome to Bike Radar...the Suntour fork is ok for a beginer..the thing is I agree with the above totally...use it and have fun and if you think in the future you getting better than the bike look to upgrade to a decent second hand bike...upgrades will cost lots on a heavy frame..
I don't mean to be rude but it's like putting racing seats and nice alloys on a 1 litre fiesta ok it looks better but won't improve the performance in anyway...get out and enjoy what you have.0
