Rear mech

Hi i have a 53/39 set up and going to alps,i am looking to get a 12/29 campag cassette.
Do i need a medium cage rear mech or a long cage?

Pinarello F8 with sram etap

    I was running the same set up and got a medium cage, based on the info provided on the likes of Ribble, but here....

    has a few folk saying they can run with a short cage without problems.

    And have you thought about swapping your 53/39 for a 50/34? :? :)

    Should be fine with your current derailleur, have a look at this on the Campagnolo website.

    This is different to 10 speed, where a medium cage is officially needed for a 29t, and long cage for a triple.
