urgent & vital question

Following on from a recent helmet thread I discovered my 12 year old road helmet would be considered by most to have served it's time, so I settled on the BBB Hawk, its in my price bracket & I like it but the all important question is which colour

bear in mind the bike is black/white/red and my gear is black/white/orange, I just can't make up my mind?

You do realise as soon as you swap it for the white, public opinion will change again. Best buy one of each to keep everyone happy.

heh heh, what's the betting that the helmet won't fit you properly and you will have to go for another type, with different colour options...

I voted white, btw, much more stylish although I have a grey one so what do I know.

Interesting question - used to be that local bike races, with low prize money, were called chippers - you might win enough to buy some chips.

Now its meaning seems to have been expanded to cover the inexperienced riders who might ride these races, whilst perhaps wearing black helmets to show that are still a bit clueless on the styling side.
