i can get lime hubs and black rims for 260 or i can get all black for 230.
O'hai
I'd recommend them wholeheartedly. Mine are rad to the power of sick.
The ONLY fault I can find with them is that the stupid superstar label is painted on, so it's not like you can remove it like a sticker.
Not a big deal, but it's a bit ghey selling green hubs and then covering most of the green with white labels.

Bionitastic.
That's quite a collection you're building up there Sheeps.0 -
We're going to have to arrange a Bionicon owners meet up soon at this rate!0

Would Sheepsteeth have to ride both bikes at the same time though? Because I'd actually pay to see that.0

I think he should! I'd definitely like to see Big D ride 2 bikes at once, especially when they're such a nice pair of bikes.....0 -
I'll gladly ride one of them for him.
(again, cue typical crudcatcher edit in 3...2...1... )0 -

haha, id bring both with me next time i make it up to wales, england.
ive only had short rides on the willow but even with the extra heft, its lovely to ride, i wonder why i bothered to replace it a few years back.0 -
new wheels and different tyres fitted:
weight has dropped from 32.4 to 30.17lbs. some new pedals (mg1) will make the weight drop to just under 30lbs and i will be more than happy with that.
those rovals were an utter bargain and are beautifully put together.0 -

Excuse my lack of effort required to answer my own question, but if the point of a Bionicon was that it's adaptable to ride almost anything (bar the extreme)... what's the point of having 2?0

Very nice.
I do hope this does not mean the Edison will be getting neglected now. It should just mean you have to ride twice as much.
I also hope that (dropper pending) you leave the colours pretty much as they are because that looks really nice as it is.0 -

i have no intentions to add or remove any colours, i did wonder if the wheels would look odd being black and white but i actually think they are good looking and suit the bike.
i should get some more pictures of the wheels for you all to ogle, the hubs are beautifully machined and i like the red nipples which i think were an OEM option.0 -
sooo, got new post and it is very nice, a bit odd looking with the piggy back affair but it feels well made and operates nicely. has the least wobble of any of the posts i have used so far.
also worth noting, i think the clamp for the seat is exceptional, i wish they were all made like this.
took it for a bit of a ride around the block and even on the smooth flat tarmac and concrete surfaces i was riding, it is apparent that this post like all posts will need a remote. i knew i should have bought one already but i thought i would wait till the post arrived to see what i thought of it.
so, one will be ordered later but i dont know whether to go with a red remote set up or stealth the bike out by replacing the red bits with black?

Before you do any of that you need to find that missing end cap for the bars.
I also think leave the red bits. You'd not be able to stealth it all out anyway as the wheels have red nips.0 -

i think the tubes are made thick enough in the post to retain strength which means there isnt enough room for all of the hydraulics (this is a 27.2mm post)
so the piggy back is the hydraulic resevoir which would normally be internal on a thicker post.0
