NapD did a thread when they came out. I know the search tool doesn't seem to work past the crash date anymore but it might be worth looking. If I recall, the thread had a lot of pages with lots of folks sharing their experience.

    Thanks for the nudge.
Forgot about the search thingy, that takes me to the BR review. I'll go and have a read.
    Thanks again. Graham. :D

    Hi Graham,

It is a shame that the search tool is pretty rubbish now but google helped out. Here are the two links I was thinking of:

    http://bikestuffreview.wordpress.com/

    http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtop ... sc&start=0

I haven't tried them but I am a big fan of the Mk1 version.

In short, if they fit, fantastic.

If the don't, drive you spare.

The irony, for me, is that they fit my expensive carbon beast (which rarely gets used in the rain) but have to be micrometre perfect on my rain sodden commuter.

    I think I'll give them a go.
I commute every working day regardless of the weather (not boasting, it's just the way it is :D)
If it's a wet day, the bike gets coverd in crap off the road, easyly remidied with a bucket of soapy water.
Perhaps these will make that less of an issue.
    Thanks for your help. Graham.

    Graham,

Before you buy, you can make sure they fit by seeing if you can fit a 5mm allen key between tyre and fork / rear brake bridge.

If you can, then they will fit and they are fantastic :)

i really like mine. although they do need cleaning regularly during winter. on my third ride with them my rear wheel would only spin half way round when i lifted it and spun it, there's so little clearance that it only takes a bit of muck to block them up. the flap to protect the fron mech is pretty genius

Just been to Halfords* and picked up a pair. I shall stick then on in the morning, thereby ensuring a dry sunny bank holiday. :D
    Graham.

    * They are down the road, they were open and they had some.

I had the same problem on mine so I now hose underneath them after every wet ride and ride through (shallow) puddles while out on those rides to reduce the clogging problem.
