Afternoon.

To cut things short, I have a specialized allez 16, which is equipped with ST-2300 shifters. It was bought a few months ago, so warranty is still active. However, part of the plastic part inside the shifters which pulls/slackens the cable has broken off, which means when I shift gears, the cable sometimes just comes out again because the plastic is not holding the cable.

Can this be warrantied from the retailer? (Mcconvey cycles)

Thanks

don't see why not, they'll probably be able to claim from Spesh and get you a new one. If it's broke then you're entitled to replacement if it affects normal use I'd have thought.

It 's still within the warranty period and as long as you havn't misused it or the damage has been caused by a crash then you should expect the supplier to repair or replace FOC without any hassle in accordance with the Sale of Goods Act.
