When is this feckin wind going to die down?
Looking out my window overlooking the severn to wales and its gale force again.
Off to alps friday lets hope its not blowing a gale over there.

I'm sick of it too. Just can't motivate myself to ride when it's like this. I'm fairly sure every single day this month has been windy. I know we had a nice April and all but this is ridiculous. Anybody have any tips on actually getting out to ride when it's like this?

I'm sat here looking out of the window into the wind and rain too.
Slight hangover so I think I'll wait till lunchtime and if it's not improved then just MTFU (and get my tights on) and go out anyway.

Agreed. I did over 250 miles in April(including my first sportive, 54 miles), but i'll be lucky to get 70-80 out of May, and most of that's been riding to work and back. Since my work is only 2 miles from my house, it's been a fairly disastrous month. Think you're right Squeeler, the only thing to do is MTFU. Still got no motivation though.

Head out into the headwind, come home on the tailwind. Or,
Head out into the headwind on someone's wheel, leave them for dead on the way back

I must be lucky, we've escaped most of the wind so far, had the odd really windy day but most of the time has only been 20mph tops, nasty up on the hill but other than that genrally OK0
