Dura Ace 7900 Calipers work with Ultegra 6700 STI Levers?

Just considering buying a pair of DA 7900 Calipers, but ive read that they must be used in conjunction with DA7900 STI levers... Is this correct?
I am using at the moment Ultegra 6700 STI Levers.

    Yes they will work fine. The brake pull ratio is different on the current shimano vs older version shimano, but is the same on 6700 and 7900.

    I have 6700 shifters on DA7700 calipers and have no problems at all so I can't see any problem with your set up.
