Obviouly can't go over there to try one out for size....
This is the one I'm probably going for http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Brand-New-Full-Carbon-Road-Bike-Bicycle-Frame-58-Fork-/300560696968?pt=Road_Bikes&hash=item45fad04688
As first bike don't have previous to compare. Work with bike nerds who have purchased similar and offered sizing advice but would like to hear what people hear have to say.

Y'know, it really would help if you gave us even the slightest clue how tall you were.0

Definitely go for medium!Faster than a tent.......0

was thinking more how to calculate from the geometry of that frame what body measurements would be needed to get the ideal fit. not just height and inside leg but is there anything else to take into account.0

Try the bike fit calculator on Competitive CyclistMake mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

To be honest looking at the feedback I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole let alone my 'arris.0

Put a Specilized sticker on it then for you to give you confidence?Say... That's a nice bike..
Trax T700 with Lew Racing Pro VT-1 ;-)0 -
If this is your first road bike, expect not to get one the right size. A frame on the small side is preferable to one that is too big.
Ask the seller to email you drawings of, say, the three sizes you are considering.0 -
25 negative out of 3300aprrox- not bad  especially when you see one person left about 10 negs for 1 item.Death or Glory- Just another Story0

There is enough neuts and negs for Carbon frames to put me off.
All well and good saying the same as other brands, but they will have QC on site.0 -

Two bits of good advice amongst that.Berk Bonebonce wrote:If this is your first road bike, expect not to get one the right size. A frame on the small side is preferable to one that is too big.
I had become resigned to the fact that being my first it was unlikely to be the ideal fit. But I will be on the road.ChrisSA wrote:Get measured for a bike fit at your LBS. If they use bikefitting.com you will get a frame printout. Compare against online dwgs, then buy.
Booked.

People have complaints about big name brands too, can't expect all the feedback to be perfect. Especially as it's mostly from one person!!0
