Chain slipping
hi
currently riding a giant defy 3. its a triple, 9 speed
chain was stretched (after 700 ish miles, is that normal?), so i replaced it with the same chain, same length.
the gears at the rear are now slipping when in high gear on the middle chainring, only when im standing up climbing a hill and putthing a lot of weight of the pedals. im 16st!!!
i replaced the gear cables but still doing it. When i set the gears up they index fine.
does the cassette need replaced?
thanks

Could be worn cassette. But check chainring and derailler jockey wheels too. A chain should last more than 700 miles, mine lasted 2000 during winter months.Say... That's a nice bike..
