Hi chaps and chapesses...now the Marin has gone and the Tomac arrived, I am running 2.35 tyres that wil not fit in my current Mont Blanc Barracuda's as the max is 2.25...I can let air out but it's a pain in the a$$...
Looking for two new carriers, and am torn between the Thule and the Mont Blanc ? I do like the idea of the mont blanc in that it holds the front wheel whilst you put on the clamps but again see loads of Thule !!! HELLLLP

I use Thule ProRide 591
Very easy for racer or MTB, you can lean it against the holding strut before clampingRichard

I have a couple of Thule 591's and i think they are excellent.
Although you wouldnt think it to look at them, the plastic bits that the wheel sits 'in' can hold the bike steady pretty good while you sort out the straps. Once the staps are tightened around the rims the bike is solid, even before you use the clamp!0 -
Went for the Thule..getting them from fordonlineparts.co.uk for 58 quid each which is 30 quid less than on line anywhere !0
