Hi, I have a pair of Rockshox Recon uturn forks, The problem i seem to get is no lock out when turned + Travel is at 110mm but get a solid hit at bottom . Turned bottom srew with turtle and Hare pics , not making much difference now. Do i need to have these serviced or can these be done by myself?

download the service manual and have a read. then do it or send it away.

    well can you do it?

I can not say either way as i have no knowledge of you.

So if you can get the parts and have the tools an feel able go for it.

    if you dont then dont.

I could disassemlble, What i'm wondering is what is needed to correct my forks once disassembled, ie oiling, weather it needs something replaced like a spring? how will i know? Might sound a stupid question

I don't want to fork out money on parts if not needed, excuse the pun.Worried i'll take it apart, then never get back the same or make it worse. How much are fork services about?

    £89

There's probably loads of others, maybe cheaper. I have forks done by these and they are spot on.
