Anyone got any ideas about a classic wheelset that will take an 8 speed campagnolo cassette?

My riding buddy has just bought a Bianchi with Record/Chorus 8speed on it. It came with a very smart looking set of Campag Atlanta wheels. Don't know what year they are from or where you might find them but they looked ace.

FWIW you can't fit an 8 speed cassette to 9/10/11 speed freehub - the spline pattern is different. However, the easy fix is to take an 9-speed cassette, drop the big sprocket and fit a 8 speed spacer kit.
If you want something classic-looking wheels, try some Ambrosio Zenith hubs built with a silver shallow-section rim like Ambrosio Excellence.
Campagnolo Atlantas are is fact a semi-deep polished alloy rim, long since discontinued and pretty hard to find these days - they build into nice, strong wheels. Another option is Mavic CXP30s.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
