getting hold of a 105 left sti

Hi. Why is it I can't seem to find a 105 left shifter for sale anywhere. There are any number of Right sti's: I bought one thinking I was being clever and that it would be easy to find a partner for it. Am I missing something? (apart from a right STI!)I am trying to put some 105 bits together to upgrade my Trek. Any suggestions?

Wasn't there a series of L/H shifters failing ?
Imagine people buying up stock to replace, whereas R/H has been ok.0 -

I'm after a left hand 105 STI (for a triple). Bust it in a little tumble.
Luckily I can still select 2 of the 3 gears so bike is perfectly usable, but I was considering selling it to help fund my new bike.
