Can anyone recomend a shop near or around Eltham? I need to get some work done and would prefer to find a local shop rather than a chain.

Cheers

Try Bromley Bike or Sidcup Cycles.

Nothing any longer in the Eltham area.

I've been in Bromley Bikes before but will pop into Sidcup as well.

  • This may be a bit far out for you , but one of the following at least offers pick up so may suit you.

A couple of recent small businesses in the St Pauls Cray area (not used either):

Also, there used to be Ruxley Cycles. I did visit there when we were buying my wife's first bike and he seemed good, if a little limited at the time when it came to hybrids (9 Crays Parade, Main Road, St. Pauls Cray, Kent, BR5 3HG).

That said, I ended up at Sidcup Cycles. Very pleased with them (and they run maintenance courses, so should have the ability). Shame they didn't stock Specialized, but they were good with my wife's Ridgeback.

Sidcup Cycles. One of the few places that can still source cleats for Merckx Podio pedals.

They are Gods. Gods, I tell you!
Swim. Bike. Run. Yeah. That's what I used to do.

I'm imagining the lad being given a telling off for ordering a load of stock that nobody is ever going to buy when he pipes up, "Well actually, I did hear of this guy called Greg. If i can track him down we'll have a customer for life."
