First ride of a brand new red route near corby, northants
Went and rode at the the brand new trails at fineshades and wakerley woods today. Well I say brand new, month old trails.
I hadnt seen anything on here about the place so I thought Id make people aware of its existance seeing as theres nothing really to ride around here!
Really enjoyed it theres an 8km red route that twists and turns through the woods and a family trail with three blue graded skills loops that are good fun too.
Its worth checking out if you live in the area!

But yeah, good little trail. As good as we got round round these parts.
Once totally complete and properly bedded in will be better.
And the 'skills loops' on the Fineshades side are fun (something like the downhill berm section would slot nicely into one of the straight downhills at Scartree if the builders saw fit...)

We were passing on Saturday so called into for a look see spoke to the guy in the bike shop regards the routes etc and he pointed me in the direction of Youtube and "rutland327" for videos of the routes.
Cheers

Oh well more publicity cant hurt.
I really liked the parts with no aggregate on them although once its rained I imagine it'll be a muddy messIme diving, ime bored, ime on the diving board0
