Personally I quite like the Haro - to be different but the only review I have read haven't been all that great
As for the Jamis how easy is to fit Hydraulic disc brakes?0 -
It will be easy enough to fit Hydro's to the Jamis.
the Haro is HEAVY!
Carrera Fury beats all the above when its being discounted but it is at £560 right now (last Month was £450)
SimonCurrently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -

However just seen this seems a bit of a baragin..I suppose the question is frame weight agin0 -
Have a look at paulscycles if you don't mind buying an older model.0

The Haro is about 800 grams heavier than the Jamis..will it make that much difference
I suppose I am interested in the overall feel and ride and having a decent frame I can upgrade on.0 -
Is this quite the baragin it seems Brand snobbery aside
Generally speaking the Carrera seems to have good review ..it seems that Halfords sales and service etc themselves are the "weak link"
