Something on in Bristol today?

I'm sitting at my window on overlooking the horrendously busy A4 portway road on this rainy, windy Monday afternoon. Not exactly ideal cycling conditions. Yet for the past hour there's been steady stream of roadies going past, some in small groups. Is there some sort of event on today? I'd have guessed it to be a sportive, but seems unusual on a Monday!
