    Thanks for the positive comment. You will notice that your photo has a prominent place. I just wanted to say how impressed I was by how good your pictures are particularly considering the less than perfect conditions, and what good value they are compared with other event photographers.
    Re the difficulty of the event, I think it's right up there.
    Honister into a headwind after what had gone before, elicited similar feelings of dread and maximum heart rates as Hardknott on the Fred Whitton.
    Using Memorymap figures, the Keswick Sportive has 151ft ascent per mile, the Fred Whitton 128ft per mile, the Lakeland Loop 122ft per mile and Le Terrier HC 117ft per mile.

    Good write ups - it made the same impression on me too! Thoroughly enjoyed the event despite the windy onslaught!
