Wales trip planning
Me and a couple of friends are planning on going on a MTB weekend in Wales in early July but we're not 100% sure where to go.
We have all been biking for years but never been on any real trails or been to to any proper trail centres. We have a 2004 Marin East Peak FS, a 2004 Marin Rock Springs FS and a 2010 Specialized Hardrock Comp HT.
I was thinking Coed-y-Brenin but does anyone have any other suggestions? It'd be nice to go somewhere that had a good mix of easy to hard trails.
Any recommendations of camp sites near by would be really helpful too.

Afan and Cwm Carn would definitely be your best bet, I'd say.
The trails are all do-able on any bike and any level, and Cwm Carn has a few DH trails if you are feeling ballsy!
Ample accommodation, I'm pretty sure you can stay at a lodge which is situated mid-trail at Afan somewhere!0 -
i don't know, coed y brenin has a lot more trails to offer and it's not that far to drive to penmachno or the marin trail either.
it depends where you're coming from and how l;ong you're willing to drive?0 -
Go to the North there aer more trail centers in a closer concentration.
South is a bit mroe spread out0
