Mullet or Fury

Hi,
I've just bought two frames at a car boot sale - only wanted one but couldn't resist at the price as they were the right size.
One's a Gary Fisher Mullet - about '05 I think (complete with disc brakes) and the other's a Carrera Fury (V-brake) about the same age. I have enough decent kit spare to make one bike up (Deore lever's/shifters/brakes/chainset, RockShox Judy fork, plus AlexRims disc and non-disc wheels), so which one is going to be the best bet? It's mostly for XC use.
They both seem to have reasonable reviews so which do you think I should build. :?: :?:

The Mullet has discs, but the Fury a better fork, drivetrain and frame, and I think would be better for the average XC rider.0
