seat clamp size

Hi, i was thinking of buying a hope seat clamp for my kona. The original seatclamp is a 35mm, hope do a 34.9mm , will that do? Surely 1mm cant make that much difference. Do you think it will be ok?

    Whats wrong with them? Read a review recently that gave them a good score

    I must admit i have a few hope components but there skewers and seat clamps are not that good
    i swapped mine for a chromag clamp grant you its more to buy but it would have been cheaper if i hadnt replaced a hope one first :(
    and the clamp force and quality are top draw on the chromag .

    I would consider another brand but there is not a lot of choice for a quick release in the size and colour (blue) that i need. I'll have a look around.
