LBS cheaper than online retailers shock

I popped into my LBS for a pair of brake pad holders (having dropped a bolt and washer down a gap in my deck and walked out with the wheels I had decided I would buy at some stage this summer.

After a bit of haggling I got a pair of Ksyrium Elites for £400.

Very pleased with them and will be using them today, hopefully.

Well done to my LBS for coming up with such a tempting deal and getting my money.

I am not going to name the shop in case publicising the deal causes them trouble with Mavic.

The point of the post is it is often asking what deals are available, especially on the weekend before pay day.
