Small cuts in tyre treads

Just noticed , and removed, small bit of glass from tyre (Mich Pro race 3); has left a small, <2mm diameter, hole in tread, near centre; can these holes be filled eg with glue, or just leave? Just worried that the hole will become a point for another bit glass / grit to get into, this time possibly going past the puncture breaker strip

Good question, I have often wondered the same thing.

I don't know the answer though.

Wetsuit glue is supposed to be the best for filling small cuts. Tough yet flexible. That's what I use on my tyres anyway, including Michelin Pro3's (which cut very easily!).

a serious case of small cogs
