2010 Specialized Stumpjumper Comp HT

This was a bit of an impulse buy, but something that has worked out quite nicely. Initially I was after a set of suspension forks for my Giant XTC. However, by the time I had weighed up buying some forks it worked out that by stripping the Giant I could get a complete new bike for very similar money. So that's what I did!
On a day off from work I popped in to my local bike shop and they had a 17.5" Specialized Stumpjumper in stock from 2010. A deal was struck and it was mine. I'd bought the same model from them back in 2002/3, so it's a bit of history repeating itself. I kept the 02/03 Stumpy for three or four years and did lots of miles on it. It was a great bike that never felt out of its depth. So I knew the more modern version would meet my expectations.
The 2002/3 model I bought (after a bit of tinkering):
And many bikes later its 2010 replacement:
It weighed 24.8lbs out of the box. I've since changed the cassette to an SLX one and the front mech to an XT one, and it's now 24.6lbs.

Sweet bike man Spesh for life.0

I've rarely seen Stumpjumpers of late, that's a beauty.0

Thanks for the comments. I wasn't too keen on the colour scheme when I was looking at them on the web, but it looks great in the metal. Got nearly 1/3 off the RRP too, so was very pleased. Still not managed to take it out though, hopefully bank holiday Monday should see it's first outing0

I used to have Spesh bikes all the time and I really like the look of yours, it reminds me a lot of the late 90's S Works colours. Enjoy.Ohhhhhhh bugger.0

Thanks for the comments, appreciate it. It's a great bike and definitely doesn't disappoint.
Not felt the need to change much on the bike so far, however I have fitted some KCNC chainrings (small and middle).
holiver - not sure on the weight on the old Stumpy I'm afraid.
I restored a 1992 Stumpy a year or so ago. Was a great bike, but unfortunately I had to sell it due to needing the money:

Recently swopped the wheels for some Hope ones on Mavic 317 rims. Also treated the bike to some Red Hope skewers. Think they're a little bit heavier than the DT Swiss/Shimano/Specialized wheels that were on it.
