Cannock chase day out form Surrey

I'm looking to drive to Cannock chase for a day out biking, I'm in the process of buying a bike so I'll be hiring one when I get there, If any one lives in the Guildford, Woking area and is interested on a day out, please get in touch

Check out the London Calling thread. Lots of us around the area, some in London, some in Surrey, some elsewhere.

Tend to ride Surrey Hills in the main, bit of Swinley and stuff around, and are up for the odd trip further afield.

I would have been interested in Cannock Chase and I'm in Woking myself, but recovering from a bad smash and can't really do anything other that pottering around at least until I'm given the okay for proper MTB (July sometime when I see the consultant again), and even then may be taking it easy for a while.

Still there are others around the area who could be up for it.

We also do the odd trip to Wales.

If you fancy doing a local hire & ride, you can get something basic at Swinley, or there are a number of cycle shops around that could probably hire. Pedal and Spoke in Peaslake (Surrey Hills) do bike hire I think.
