Well i hope that got you attention so here is my n00b question...
I have a specalized rockhopper and on the bike I have a set of SR Suntour SF11-XCR-DS-26-LO-SP forks, On the right hand side is the lockout, I fully understand the purpose of this, on the other side is another dial, what is this used for? I am guessing it is for how hard or soft you want the rebound? If this is the case and I am doing some light off road stuff what would be best to set it to? from memory it has a +- on it.
Thanks for the help.

i only learnt this the other day. it is to do with the rebound and how hard or soft its to be. i have a rock shox fork and have it on the sort of half way setting, but best thing to do is try with different settings and see what feels best i think.0

It is a preload dial and is used to set sag and ride height. Not rebound ;-)0

I think that's compression adjustment, to set sag. Don't think those have adjustable rebound.I don't do smileys.

Turn the dial until you have the right sag for you - 20-25% of travel. That's about it.
Otherwise look on the Suntour site - it's a pretty good one.I don't do smileys.
