Contador is also reminding me of Armstrong when he was dominating the Tour. Very impressive but often not very thrilling to watch.
Contador looks far more easier and relaxed than LA ever did, but as he's known to sometimes have a semi-bad day, who knows what will happen.

You have to remember Contador isn't against the best GTers there are in the Giro.

Given he's the #1 GTer you'd expect him to rinse this lot, which he is.

Lance did what Contador is doing to the Giro lot on the world's best.

Can't compare Contador to Lance. Lance was a bully in the peleton. Contador is a gentleman.

I'm hoping that if Bertie does get banned we will get a cracking Tour de France....gotta keep hoping!

This Giro feels a bit like the difficult second album after last years cracker.

”What a master piece," said Saxo Bank-SunGard commander-in-chief Bjarne Riis. "We were in control throughout the whole stage and according to the original plan, Alberto only had to keep up with his opponents, but as they showed weaknesses I asked him to launch two attacks without going too deep and in the second punch, only Rujano was able to compete and we're very content with that.

"The lead to Nibali is increased significantly and we got more from the stage than we had expected beforehand. That doesn't mean that the race is won. There are several high mountain stages to come and we all know how you can lose minutes on a bad day in the mountains, so we need to stay focused on the job."

Bertie has many redeeming characteristics, but this turkey needs to show a little humility and shut the fk up until after CAS. All the crowing over his golden boy Basso didn't turn out too well did it?

I find myself in a dilemma watching the Giro.

My view is that Bertie should not be riding- simple as that. Having said that he is riding so what do I think of his performance. Its pretty exceptional so far and I have to say I cant believe he would be juiced now bearing in mind the ramifications if he is caught.

Unless he is serious about retiring if he is banned and therefore doesnt give a flying f*** if he does get caught here.

I'd love to see someone take it to him on Zoncolan but difficult to see it happening.
