He's doing rather a good job as a pundit in the ITV Cali coverage. Never really been a fan of his writing style (I know plenty are) and he probably had an impossible job commentating on whatever middle eastern race he did last year (Oman ?) but I'm quite impressed with his double act with whatshisface in the ITV studio.

it's a hard life if you don't weaken.

It's great! I wish they could get a ski Sunday type program commissioned. A regular Real Peloton slot with clips and analysis, and a celebrity TT each week...

Prefer his writing to his podcast, but still listen nevertheless.

Anyone else think his voice totally doesn't match his face?

Dont think Rendell would get a part in a gangster movie with a Squeaky voice like his

Tho i did like him taking the P**s out of Horner who said nobody could drop him just now with the exception of Alberto "aberdeen angus" Contador

Yep, much prefer listening to their comments on ITV4 than to Sherwen/Liggett....it's now clear why they haven't done a realpeloton podcast for so long.

I secretly dream that someone like Matt reads these very pages and goes "that Rick Chasey, he's always on the money - really knows his stuff - get him on the podcast"..

Alas, I fear it's more like "that Rick's a myopic opinionated standard weird internet person"...

I wouldn't cross the road to listen to him (although have to say I do have those 2 Peloton dvds on the shelf) as anyone on here knows if they ever trouble to read what I write.

Oh, I imagine they both do, Rick.
They tracked down and interviewed festinagirl after all (which was well worth it)

No, I enjoyed it- she sounded just like I thought she would.

I hear they may be on the tail of Iain, Frenchfighter and afx next.

I reckon we could lure them to a pub somewhere, with a trial of pasta, doughnuts, beer and the promise of meeting, say, Contador, face to face.

I'd like to see a meeting between that odd person cornoyemade and Cavendish. And film it in low resolution on a mid 2000's mobile phone.

Of course Matt and Ned read these forums, everyone involved in cycling secretly does. The riders when they aren't training and the presenters when off air. In fact the presenters do when on air. Ned and Matt play 'Phil and Paul Cliche Bingo' during the AToC...

No- remind me again? (vaguely remembers something witty Iain said)

Cornoyemade would last all of 15 seconds in a room with Cavendish.

Damn, the phone I'd want it recording on (grainy low res mid 2000's) would only record for 10 :( I know it's specific but things always look more shocking on this sort of playback.

I don't think Cornoyemade has much to fear, cyclists are well known for the fighting skills...

Matt, as we now know you look at this thread, a word of advice - that green shirt you're wearing is absolutely horrible. Seriously, burn it.
