Okay! finally after reading the reviews, then deciding which bike I should go for, and then storming in on other peoples bike blogs here on Bikeradar (sorry ) I finally went out and I recently bought the Carrera Fury mountain bike from Halfords on Sunday 15th May 2011 but, first, purchasing the bike was the biggest hassle I had faced so far. Here's what happened  Kidding, just enjoy the pictures and comments and leave your views, they are appreciated ..
A 14:30pm, I had officially purchased a Carrera Fury 09'18 mountain bike (2011 stock) and walked out, but before I did, I saw the white Boardman Comp, I then thought, just get the hell out of here
The bike was discounted a further £10 for a small tear in the saddle, and the price I paid in total was £429.60p and included in that price was £71.60 VAT, tramps.
The bike is now in the garage, ready to commute wherever I take it, but first I will need a lock and whatever else will keep it safe from thieves on the prowl
Pictures will follow, then soon after some videos, feel free to share thoughts, ideas, comments, suggestions, recommendations for parts to put on my new bike and your own story's, thanks.
Here it is behind the counter, being finally checked over, by me of course, before being released off the handle and taken out by me, after signing paperwork and documents.

15/05/11 - 15:13 on the way through the park, stopped to admire her beauty for a second.

18/05/11 - 13:42pm and then from the kitchen she went in my room for a good few days to avoid getting envied by onlookers, she needed a break.

15/05/11 - 16:57 .. Here it is, in the hallway, shortly after I brought it home that same day, after taking pictures of it outside, it stayed in the hallway for a few hours until it then went up in my bedroom.
A bit strange for a £600 bike, the frame looks relatively thin compared to Trek bikes like the 6000 and 6300 and 6500 and Giant bike, but I suppose it's Halfords afterall, a car mechanic shop and not a bike shop !

After downstairs, it stayed up in my room for a further few days ..0

Heres was the damage done to the bike by Halfords as it was a display model taken out and left there and in 2 weeks got loads of scratches, pathetic people, as if, they probably tortured it.

In another thread you had hijacked, you said you'd just bought some Brand new Superstar pedals identical to mine, for £20 from ebay.
Can you give me the link please. For that price, I'll get myself a spare set.0 -

Can you paste me the words where I said spare set of superstar for £20? I might have said something similar to them in green for £20, also, on mtb website I can't remember the name but, nato green dmr v12 for £35 posted, he paid £60 for them, let me just have another look on eBay for ya one sec.0 -
No you didn't. You said you bought a pair the same as mine for £20 off ebay.
Then all the posts were removed (quite rightly) by the mods because they were cluttering up someone elses thread.0 -

Okay, I privately emailed this guy and he gave me a discount, I did not purchase them because I saw the dmr in nato green, my fav colour for my bike theme, so i turned down his offer, his superstar in white were £60, I offered him £30 he accepted.

Here are some in white >> http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DMR-V12-PEDALS-9- ... 2a1133e93e
and the superstar nano tech which is the one I think according to you and your interpretation of what I said, i mentioned I could get for £20, only through an offer, I can't find the link, but when i know facts i say facts and that was a fact, £20 they were.
DMRv12 are better i think.0 -

I think this was the first evening I took my bike out for it's first or 3rd ride, I can't remember.

Parked up in the garage later on that evening before nightfall, resting.
I think this was a few days after, or the morning after but in the afternoon, just enjoying my normal silent moment in a field park nearby, thought I'd take the bike with me and see how it would do.
and then the next day or day after again, I stopped at another field where I played a bit of football for a while, it's a rugby field and football field near a golf club.
No, it wasn't on it's way to Sunday morning sermon, this was in afternoon after I went house hunting I decided to rest it against the church court yard wall outside the church grounds, against the writing against the wall. It says, feel, admir and worship the power of the almighty fury, joking ..
and finally the seat went on eBay for sale, a link will follow shortly ..
here is the seat >> http://s1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee4 ... 011437.jpg
and here is how much it sold for, I put £6.50 postage but it only costs about £2 but I thought why not make someones day and get it there next morning so I used special next day delivery.
I also make money through postage as well, don't forget

What do you mean, yes I do understand the concept of eBay auction and reserve price, but what relevance does it hold in particular to what it is we are discussing here on this thread?
