Routes near Warrington?

Hi everyone, Im off to warrington for a long weekend. Are there any rides that i ican do that are close by. Im up for anything really, does'nt have to be trailcentre level so any suggestions welcome. thanks. chris

    There are routes north to Billinge Hill and Parbold via Carr Mill

    Out to the west to Runcorn Bridge along Spike Island if you want flat.

    Or head over to Llandegla

    May be someone on here http://www.thewoollybacks.co.uk/forum.php will be organising a (NCR) Non Club Ride which you could invite yourself along to.

    If you dont mind flat cycle paths the Trans Pennine Trail is on the doorstep

    Easy cycling mostly off road just occasional short on road sections with lots of stations nearby to bail out if the weather changes.
