Hey everyone, making the switch from MTB to road bikes, and am trading my bike for a Nox Airbase Worldcup, which is a carbon frame.

Has anyone had any experience with these bikes? Or know anything about them? I can't seem to find anything on them online other than specs, no reviews or anything.

Steady on old chap. I've been hanging around on here for a good old while and yes, you're right - never heard of it!

Where are you getting it from?

Out of curiosity googled it, and its a German make, and looks like they specialise in MTB more than road, and the spec only looks par for the course for a 3500 euro road bike, that was for a 2006/7 model, for me i would stick to more well known manufacturer for that sort of money, but its your choice.

Seems a little expensive, even for Dura Ace, and gearing looks a little odd. I'm only cycling since August, so no expert but 39-23 will be your lowest gear, so unless you weigh 63kg and have Armstrong's legs, it's going to be a grinding sufferfest on even moderate climbs.

Also 50-12 as a top gear, means that if you do have those super strong legs, you'll run out of gears before you reach you full potential speed.

Looks like the worst gear combo, I've ever heard off.

This bike http://www.sensabikes.com/product_info. ... cts_id=289 is €200 cheaper and 1kg lighter, with Dura Ace... don't know the chainring and cassette option tho.

I was actually trading my MTB for it, so only popped 70 down on top.

Took it out for a ride yesterday, and it does seem quite good, very comfortable and power transfer seems nice. Oh well for only an ooutlay of 70 right now is not bad.
